Poznań - During our numerous interventions we keep asking ourselves the same question: How can people be so greedy? To save a bit of money, they make animals live in very confined places without hay or sawdust beneath their feet, they tether them to the wall on a short chain and feed them their entire lives on cheap and unhealthy food, just to fatten them up. Females are allowed to live longer, as long as they are capable of giving birth.

Rościsławice - While on her way to Wrocław, Scarlett saw a horse pulling a cart. The horse's condition was desperate: scrawny, severely lame in its left foreleg and exhausted. With his mouth wide open he was desperately trying to catch some air. His enormous efforts to keep on going were met only with a fierce whipping from his owner. In the village nearby Scarlett managed to find out who the horse's owner was and where they live. After interviewing people in the village she learned that the animal, despite a severe health condition preventing it from doing any kind of work, is made to work hard every single day...
